MEET CYNTHIA
Cynthia Boyar Trejo, an entrepreneur, educator, mentor, and advocate, was raised in Northeast El Paso and is a proud graduate of Andress High School. She is the Founder and CEO of Crowning Point, a leading training and consulting company, and the Founder and President of In Her Element Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing resources and support systems to underrepresented and underserved girls and women, helping them advance in their careers and take on leadership roles.
Cynthia is a forward-thinking leader with a passion for making a positive impact within her community, which is evident through her work and extensive involvement in various community organizations. Her commitment to elevating the underserved has earned her national recognition, including an invitation from Vice President Kamala Harris to a reception honoring remarkable Latina leaders in the US.
With a wealth of professional experience and non-profit involvement, Cynthia possesses a unique perspective on the importance of strong leadership, economic growth, and community-driven solutions.

Economic development is a powerful tool for providing tax relief for El Pasoans. When implemented effectively, it reduces the tax burden by expanding the local tax base, increasing revenues through growth, and creating jobs—without raising taxes. Cynthia is focused on attracting advanced industries and diverse businesses to raise wages, improve quality of life, and strengthen the local economy.

Cynthia will prioritize strategies and programs to attract and retain law enforcement and fire professionals and advocate for well-maintained streets, parks, and neighborhood facilities to provide recreational opportunities, improve community engagement, and enhance our quality of life.
